Project Category

Interior Design / Visual Identity & Branding

Miss Tigress is a Pan-Asian kitchen built on the energy of the street: neon-lit alleys, paper lanterns, steaming bamboo baskets and late nights that stretch past closing. Ramen, noodles, dumplings and Nikkei share the table, bringing the flavors of China, Japan, Korea and Thailand together under one name.

JASTOR VALUE

Miss Tigress needed an identity as bold as its kitchen, one that could hold several culinary traditions without turning into a cliché of any of them. Jastor created the brand from the ground up: naming expression, logo system, visual language and a full range of applications, all built around a single character, a woman riding a tiger.

We started from a moodboard of night markets, neon signage and vintage Asian print, and went through a wide range of logotype explorations before landing on a hand-drawn lettering mark. The name also appears as 母老虎小姐, Miss Tigress in Chinese, which ties the brand to its roots. Around it, we developed a complex logo, circular floral variations, emblems and a monogram, set in Ivy Mode for titles and Fenwick for body copy, with a script for quotes.

DESIGN SYSTEMS

MISS TIGRESS

The identity was designed to live in the night. Neon signage, lightboxes, lanterns and street banners carry the tigress from the facade into the dining room and the bar, where cocktails, coasters and matchbooks keep the story going long after the first plate.

SOLUTION

The result is a vibrant, layered brand with attitude: rooted in Asian visual culture, playful in its details and ready to scale from the table to the street. Beyond the restaurant, the system extends naturally into merchandise (caps, tees, sweatshirts, totes, fans) and a social presence that feels as alive as the room.
